P-camp in Bangalore by Yahoo

I was planning to write about P-camp since the day I attended one.On 23rd Oct Yahoo organized a P-camp in Bangalore which was second of its kinds in India..before I go further telling my experience of that P-camp..let me first explain what is a P-camp.P camp is abbreviation for Product camp and is in the spirit of a barcamp but caters to ideas revolving around Product and Product Management and Marketing. At a product camp there are no attendees as everyone participates in some manner:presenting, discussing, sharing their past experiences and volunteering.

At Yahoo Bangalore the P-camp started with opening remarks from Director of Yahoo Entrepreneurship Network and Vice president of Yahoo. In all there were 4 remarkable sessions,2 pre-lunch sessions and 2 post lunch sessions and each session having 3 tracks.

Sessions attended by me :-
1.Product Management and Innovation in Startups by Sunil Maheshwari, CEO, Mango Technologies.
2.Deriving success through Innovation and Corporate Entrepreneurship by Harsha Mutt, Headstart Ventures.

3.Product Positioning by Anuradha Shridharan,Product manager,Cleartrip.
4.Want to become a product manager and don't know where to start? by Pinkesh Shah

Session 2 and session 4 were awesome, the kinda of direction obtained through discussions and presentations on Entrepreneurship and on product management were worth every minute spend.Networking with people and knowing their past experiences and the innovation they are bringing to their products was enriching. All in all well spend Saturday in a networking event which focused on Product management and marketing.
